Hello & Happy New Year there!

We are thrilled to continue keeping you up to date on what’s going on at Whistler Nordics as we enter 2024.

Looks like the snow has come and will stay for a while, the early season has somehow been able to tick on including #1 & #2 of the Teck Cup Series. We have a lot to look forward to, read on to find out about upcoming events, member perks, where you can pitch in, and as always, a great ski tip for you at the end!

Although conditions were not ideal, the atmosphere was great and the athletes worked hard. Thank-you so much to the volunteers, these events quite literally could not happen without you!

Whistler Nordics Bio: Since 2017, I've been fortunate to belong to an incredible community of cross-country skiing enthusiasts at Whistler Nordics.  I thoroughly enjoy my role as SDP Coordinator, where I engage with aspiring young skiers and collaborate with coaches to witness the remarkable progress and enthusiasm among the youth and the community over the years.

Favourite trail at Lost Lake/WOP: Lost Lake - The Panoramas,  WOP - Norwegian Woods

Preference for classic in fresh snow or skate on speedy hard-pack:  I like both!  

The toonie ski series are on the horizon & one of the most fun perks of having a membership with Whistler Nordics! The first race had to be pushed back by 1 week, but we’re excited to get them rolling on January 18th! These events are incredibly fun, lively, and full of community and comradery! You don’t want to miss out, so make sure you have your membership and toonie pass for this season. Learn more about the Toonie Ski Series.

2023 TECK COAST CUP #3 RACE NOTICE

The next Teck Coast Cup is happening on January 20th! See the full race notice here. This race is designed to appeal to racers of all levels, from children and their parents just starting out, to advanced racers!

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has already volunteered their time for the first 2 events, and we are looking for your help once again!

No experience is needed and many volunteers are required! You’ll be provided with lunch, snacks, hot drinks, and a ticket to Whistler Olympic Park if needed!
