Whistler Nordics Ski Club Skill Development Program Details:

Our program is for children from 5 to 17 years of age. It follows the Cross Country BC youth skills program and the Long Term Athlete Development Program guidelines as set out by Sport Canada.

The Whistler Nordics will hold sessions both at Lost Lake and Whistler Olympic Park/Callaghan Country. You can choose to ski in the program on one of those days or both. The club has several different levels as outlined below. All of our coaches are volunteers from the Club - most are parents who have taken the required Cross Country Canada coaching courses offered through the Whistler Nordics Ski Club.
Maria Lundgren will continue her job as head coach for the Whistler Nordics 11/12 season.

All the SDP Programs below can be registered for online at Zone 4.

Whistler Nordic Ski Club membership is MANDATORY. It is not included in the fees outlined and can be purchased when registering for the program.

As well, all participants will need a trail pass for the days and locations of their classes in order to take part in the session.  Passes can be purchased from Whistler Olympic Park or the Resort Municipality of Whistler closer to winter.
