Our program is for children from 5 to 17 years of age. It follows the Cross Country BC youth skills program and the Long Term Athlete Development Program guidelines as set out by Sport Canada. Registration opens September 6, 2012. Places are limited so sign up soon!
The Whistler Nordics will hold sessions both at Lost Lake and Whistler Olympic Park/Callaghan Country. You can choose to ski in the program on one of those days or both. The club has several different levels as outlined below. All of our coaches are volunteers from the Club – most are parents who have taken the required Cross Country Canada coaching courses offered through the Whistler Nordics Ski Club.
Whistler Nordic Ski Club membership is MANDATORY. It is not included in the fees outlined and can be purchased when registering for the program.
Trail Passes are not included in the program fees, please ensure that you and/or your children have a valid pass to ski. Passes can be purchased from Whistler Olympic Park/Callaghan Country or the Resort Municipality of Whistler.
